U-Line Refrigerator Ice Maker Logo
Posted on Feb 21, 2011

I have a U-Line CO75FB under-counter refrigerator/icemaker. The thermostat control is broken. On my unit it is marked as part # 2717, but U-line tells me this part has been replaced by part # 80-26005-02. On the 2717 terminals are in two "rows," the red wire on top and in the lower "row" the yellow on the left and the blue on the right. The new part does not have the same layout of the terminals. Can anybody tell me which wire goes where?

Hello
The control you have #80-26005-02 has the same number position as the 2717. The numbers are listed on the new control.
The red wire goes on #1, the yellow #2, and the black or blue black goes on #3. The numbers may be difficult to view, but they are printed on the new control.

Kelvinator fridge freezer

  • If your refrigerator leaks water, you have a problem with either a water line or a drain line. If your refrigerator has an automatic icemaker or a water dispenser, the water supply line could be broken. Automatic icemakers have a drain line that runs down to the drain pan beneath the fridge. Mold build-up inside the drain line can lead to a rupture that allows water to escape .A broken drain line can also lead to water leaking from your refrigerator.

ICE MAKER NOT WORKING

Ice makers can be purchased inexpensively on ebay for about 45 dollars.

Otherwise the hassle can be caused by the solenoids feeding the unit water, the icemaker thermostat, heater element, cam motor, cam sequence, icemaker "off" switch, etc. Also check to make sure that the water line feeding refrigerator is working!

Can freon be added to an under the counter unit?

Freon can be added to any unit, but you e going to have to take the unit out to exposed the back where the component are located. Why do you think that you need freon. Unless the line was punctured. it unlikely that you would need to add freon, Is it not getting/keeping cold. Problem might lie elsewhere like in the thermostat. Hope this helps.

No water to ice maker

It will only call for water when the thermostat is satisfied. Now if you advance the icemaker when the ejector blade reaches 10 oclock thats when it should call for water. If you dont here the valve humming then it would be in the water switch inside the icemaker. Also make sure the thermostat is not set too cold. if its too cold it will never satisfy your control.

Manually advance : remove the cover on icemaker then turn the small gear counter clockwise

I have a u-line ULN-WH95TP-03 THAT WILL FREEZE ICE BUT WILL NOT HARVEST THE ICE. I HAVE MOVED THE THERMOSTAT AS WARM AS IT WILL GO AND IT STILL WILL NOT HARVEST. IF I MANUALLY MOVE THE TIMER JUST A LITTLE...

Your thermostat is what advances your icemaker. You have 3 wires. When it calls for freeze then yellow(2) and blue/black(3) is closed. When that is satisfied the compressor and fan cycles off then the yellow(2) and red(1) is closed. This calls for the icemaker to advance. Red goes to icemaker, yellow is common, and blu/black is for the fan and compressor.
Hope this helps you. I would replace the thermostat

Sometimes unit will not start

Temp Control unit needs to be replaced - approx $75. This unit has a pre-set temp control unit which triggers the compressor/cooling fan to come on when the temp reaches its set parameters. When it doesn't function, you get the stated problem.

U LIne B198- Makes a batch then quits

Ok first thing is replace the control with a u-line part. yellow is common and red is for harvest and blue is for compressor and fan. yellow and blue would make the compressor and fan to run. but you will not have an icemaker.
