Have u replaced the lamp? also do you have any other symptoms .I had a customer call me with same symptoms this morning.i also told him to listen for any noisy motors or cooling fan problems.he said his played and blinked 67 times then would repeat cycle he also said unplugging it for a day then plugging it back in made it play fine for 3 days

Sounds like the CRTs are going into protective blanking due to the vertical output ic needing to be resolderd. Try resoldering the vertical IC that may possibly fix the issue.

I had the same exact problem.
I removed the bulb and cleaned it. There is a small screen at the top of the bulb and it was covered with dust. Once it was cleaned I replaced the bulb and it solved the problem.

More than likely it is the G1 board or Thermal Fuse. I replace the thermal fuse and it is still giving me the 6 blinking red lights. Thermal fuse is $40 and cheapest G1 board I have found on-line is $120. I am about to pull the trigger on the G1 board and give it a shot.
