One of those nickle sized batteries, 2032 or the bigger 2430, they are both 3 volts. The battery is under the left side cap. It should say what size it takes someplace on there. Hope this helps.
Steve, your Tasco is fairly common, often copied by a lot of taiwan companies. Walmart carries that same scope right now, you could go there and peak at the owners manual or get them to make you a copy. I know the double lines represent the 18 inches of a deer's chest, and the other dials about the bullet ballistics, I don't know about, would have to see it. I thought it was just by the size of the 18 inch mark gave you the range and that was it. The scope did the rest. But I don't know. Anyway, check it out. Hope this helps.
Not from what I'm seeing on Google. It's CR2032. It's like the CR2025 but more powerful and about twice as thick from what I remember. Also I'm seeing reports of tasco pro points using 2xCR2032. Here's an approximate guide: CR2025 1.5mm thick CR2032 3mm thick. Obvioulsly the spring is in the way so the space looks smaller, so to get a better idea, push the spring in so you can see how much space there is in there. Try googling "tasco pro point cr" and see if you can find the one that looks like yours.
Thier website didnt have an information on scopes that old that i could see. however if you contact them im sure they would know what size the battery needs to be, and would be happy to refer you to a place to purchase them (if not a product they themselves supply)
NOTE Tasco is a European company residing in Spain Madrid. You may be asked to send it overseas to be identified? (worst case scenario) if this is the case be sure to purchase a number of batteries for the device to make it somewhat cost effective
:) (I couldnt find the battery type as i dont know exactly what scope you have :(
The PDP3CMP uses the CR2032 batteries.I had one and gave it to my son who uses it on a huge pistol.I gace him several spare batteries with it.You always need a spare for those things.Good Luck
