get the code. most of these are P0320's crankshaft position sensor failures - stop the engine like you turned it off.
SOURCE: hard shift and blinking overdrive
The blinking overdrive button is telling u that a serious fault has occurred in the electronic controls or a mechanical fault such as excess slippage is occurring.
SOURCE: overdrive light started flashing
the OD light is flashing to let u know a fault has occurred in the transmission electronic controls or that it is slipping plus other issues, go to Kragen or Autozone and ask them to run a trouble code test, it is free, post the code back here for me to look at.

P0743 is Torque Converter Clutch solenoid circuit failure during self-test.
P0750 is SS1(shift solenoid) solenoid circuit failure.
P0755 is SS2 solenoid circuit failure.
Sounds like you are having an intermitant electrical failure to the tranny. Check the connector at the Tranny and make sure you don't have a loose connector and check it for corrosion.Trace these 3 wires back GN/WH, GN/Y, and GN/O. these go back to a splice then go into one wire GN/Y and then to the PCM relay in the engine compartment fuse panel. Make sure that this harness is not chaffing on metal somewhere or maybe the splice is going bad.You can try and overlay it from the relay to one of the 3 wires at the tranny connector and see if this solves the concern.

When the o/d light is blinking that means there is a trany issue. My suggestion would be to have the computer scaned for codes and then get back to me and I will try to be of further assistance.
