When keyboard comes up on IPad, the space bar is missing. I know that it was there at first. How do I get it back?

My Bluetooth device that was previously picked up by the denon sound bar purchased only 3 months ago is now no longer being picked up. Apple says prob is not with iPad

You can try a few things on the iPad.

you can't start by just resetting the networks settings on the iPad and power cycling the sound bar.

if the issue persist then plug your iPad into a computer with iTunes, back up and restore the device. Set the Device up as new. If the device can now connect to the sound bar you can try to restore from the iTunes back up you created. If the issue comes back when you put the info back in the device then you will need to set up as new.

if the is still not resolved and you know the iPad can connect to other Bluetooth devices then you will need to reach out to Denon.

I do not know how to set keyboard. It seems the plug does not fit. I do not want to force it.

The keyboard has to be USB or wireless BT.

You can connect a bluetooth keyboard if the on-screen keyboard does not satisfy your needs. As for storage space, look around for a "wireless hard drive" with iOS support.

How do i get my keypad back to normal on my ipad

You have put the keyboard into split mode. You can split the iPad's keyboard in two by either tapping and holding on the 'toggle keyboard' button on the lower-right, or simply pulling the keyboard apart at the middle.

You can put it back to normal by pinching the keyboard back together or by tapping the button on the lower right.

If the spacebar on the keyboard isn't there (with .com and underscore keys etc instead), you're in the URL-typing keyboard instead of the normal one. Try clicking the @ icon in the bar just above the keyboard to change modes. In handwriting mode, it's the same thing...click the @ icon near the left side of the bottom bar.

What app are you in? The iPad's software keyboard is not always the same - it changes depending on what context you're in. For example, it will remove the space bar and display web symbols when typing a URL (web address).

I had same problem - suggest you tap the "search" box rather than the URL box at the top.

This happened to me in the writepad app. Apperently it's some special URL-typing mode for the keyboard. I got back to the normal keyboard by clicking the @ icon in the bar just above the keyboard.

The ipad's keyboard changes depends on the input box you are in. If you are searching in the right side of safari the spacebar will appear. if you are typing on the addressbar - the spacebar will not show.
