LG 37LC7D 37 in. LCD HDTV Logo
Anonymous Posted on Feb 08, 2011

LG 37LC7D HDTV just went blank. Screen blacked out and green light is on but no response to input change, remote, volume, or channel change. I've unplugged it for several minutes in an effort to reboot it and let it have a time out and when I plug it back in the green light blinks for about 30 seconds but screen is blank and still no response. Did it die?

Problem with a LG 37in lcd when i turn it on it takes forever for it to show up a picture on the screen the green light comes on and then i gotta wait

Have the power supply checked out. I've worked on your particular model with the same problem. Turned out to be bad capacitors in the power supply.

I recently moved, and when I had my cable TV set up, my 42" LCD had the green light indicator telling me that the television was on, but the screen was blank (no "snow" or input display) and...

Try changing your input choices until you get a picture. This usually means that the tv is on and functioning properly but the input method you have chosen is not the right one. what I mean by input choices are aux, cable, input one or two ect. check to see where the antenna is connected to your tv by which input method you are using on the back of the tv. Then change that input method to match by clicking the button on the remote that changes it.

LG 37LC7D 37 in. HDTV LCD TV My screen seem to over heat, Goes blank, but TV is still on. then comes back on for a few seconds, then again blacks out

It sounds like a problem in the high voltage circuit. Had a similar TV set which had the same problem. When there's power leaking from the high voltage circuit, these TV's will tend to cycle on and off. Voltage leaks are mostly caused by accumulated dust for the most part.

Tv screen has turned blue and I can't watch tv

i think by accident you have changed the input when you went to change the volume. look for a button labeled " input" or "video" select on the remote and scroll through the various choices. you should get your picture back.
