Check out the brand/manufacturer name and the serial number. Google out the contact number for the customer service for that brand/manufacturer and once you speak to them, provide them the serial number, they will answer your query to your expectation.

You can refine your search by specifying the type of product that your SN relates to.
specific serial numbers are usually on the box or the reatilers tag. Caseback numbers are enough for ordering and service. These are the numbers on the back of your watch.
