yes, there is an offset on the Softail series of bikes. I'm pretty sure there is an offset on the FLH series as well, at least the older ones had an offset. The offset is about 3/8" as best as I can remember. It's noted in the service manual. Find someone that has a factory service manual and it will tell you about the offset.
