Hello, I am having trouble with my built in Zanussi ZBF 360. When I turn the oven on to the fan symbol the 'on' light comes on and when I turn to the required temperature the heating light also appears. However, the noise coming from the oven is a lot quieter and there is no heat. I have tried leaving the oven for around 30 mins and still no heat. I have tried switching off at the mainswhich also has no effect.

If you cannot hear the fan going, then it is possible the fan is faulty, and the element has probably failed as well.
Both these components can be accessed by removing the panel at the rear of the oven compartment

Zanussi oven zbf 360 + bulb blows repeatedly

bulbs blow from incorrect voltage in use or loose ground wires ( arcing out)
if they fail while the oven is on it is because the bulb construction glass is wrong
bulbs used in ovens need a special heated treated glass and are generally only available from the service agent
failing immediately on turning on indicates a bigger problem that the bulb so call in an electrician to test the system

Trip swich went when turned back on no power in oven at all

Hi intial problem will probably be a faulty heating element locatated behind the panel at the back. the zbf260 has no clock but if its a zbf 360 set the clock before the oven will function. otherwise the fault has damaged another component on the oven. which can be in order of most likley.fuse if on 13a supply/ thermostat/ selectorswitch/ thermal cutout/jw

I have a zanussi built in oven model no zbf 860b which the fan is still working but the oven is no longer heating up?? Thanks

Hello,
If the red light is coming on when you turn on the oven control then the thermostat is ok.You will need to remove the grids from inside the oven then remove the inside rear panel 4 screws, be carreful not to damage the thermostat as you remove the panel. When you have removed panel you will see the ring element, now remove the 3 screws holding in the element and gently pull it towards you, remove the 2 cables off element but do not let them fall into the back of cooker or you will have to remove the cooker and gain access to the rear of the cooker.Once you have element check with a multi-meter for continuity and replace if blown. Relacement is a reverse of removal.

Hope this helps.

That seal you should be able to order from any appliance spares supplier the Zannussi part number is. 3577252020. cost in euros. € 10.20 + vat.If it is the one I think it is then it is not easy to fit.The screws around the whole front panel have to be slackened off and the front prised forward dont take off fully pull old one off the new one has to be pushed in behind lip then fix all screws.may be easier with door off.
Hope I helped.

Oven not working - rest of appliance fine

It is most likely that the oven heating element has failed and will need to be replaced.

This not an overly expensive part to have replaced and should be much less than the cost of buying a new oven although you would need to compare actual costs in your area.

Zanussi zbf260x built-in oven keeps tripping out

Probably due to a fault on the oven heating element. Check continuity and earth with a multimeter if you can but it's odds on you will need a new heating element.

Zanussi zbf 760 (9 yrs old now)

This tutorial will show you how to check your Zanussi element and how to replace your Zanussi cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
  1. Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Zanussi manual.
  2. If you're Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
  3. When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

Clock

Hi this is propably too late now but we moved in to our new house six months ago and have a Zanussi ZBF 360 oven, and had no idea how to set the timer / clock. After fiddling around with the oven clock for the last 6 months i managed to set the clock. It shouldn't be much different to the one you have. Hope this helps you and others in the future.

Click the middle button until the little red things on the screen moved round to the clock symbol, then press + or - to get to the correct time, once you have done this it will flash for a few seconds then it will stop flashing and the clock is set. The same goes for the timer to set it when you want to cook something for a period of time eg: ten mins.

As for getting the oven timer to turn it's self on and off I am still messing with it and when i have mastered it I will let people know.
