I am hoping that you can help me. I have the code H5-01 and I know i need to use the sim number 14 to reset my copier. But I don't know how to reset the copier in order to put the code in.
Type in "p" "*" "C" " *" (that is p button, star button, p button, star button.) the machine will go into sim mode enter 14 then press execute which appears on the lcd and the yes to confirm, then press CA and the machine should turn off then back on again
I had the exact same problem....and tried this solution. It completely solved our problem! Thanks so much for this much valued information!!! God Bless!

Check for paper jam in or by fuser unit. Remove paper. On the keypad press P * C * and SIM 14 to reset copier. If you get 5 jams at the fuser unit in a row it gives this code. If it keeps jaming double check for paper, my have a faulty sensor.
H5-01 indicates tha the paper sensor is defective in the fusing unit. The only way you can try to reset that one is buy turning the power off, wait 30 seconds and turn the power back on.
If the error code returns the fusing unit will have to be fixed to take care of the paper sensor.
Yes H5-01 is when it jams in the fuser 5 times in a row, check the fuser section for a jam, the paper jams up in there and does't trigger any sensors, once you have confirmed that its clear reset with sim code 14
