It sounds like a problem in the high voltage circuit. Had a similar TV set which had the same problem. When there's power leaking from the high voltage circuit, these TV's will tend to cycle on and off. Voltage leaks are mostly caused by accumulated dust for the most part.

Loud cracking and zapping coming from tv,sounded like speakers, when it was first turned on.Was happening intermittently but now nothing.Checked power and fuse inside and nothing seems burnt or cracked

Something has blown.. possibly a resistor, diode or ??? on one or more of the boards. You should take the TV to a service Agent who should be able to resolve the problem.

I have a LG 37LC46 lcd tv. Power is going through the set but no picture. Just error message "not programmed" and then blank screen. Happened very suddenly please can you help?

When the screen goes blank, dim the lights in the room. Take a bright flashlight and shine it on the panel. If you see a faint picture, you have a backlight failure

Frozen picture on LG LCD 37"

Try One of your working TVS and connect it to your cable outlet of the TV that is having problems. If that TV Does not work then there may be a degraded fitting or the Leg coming of the splitter to that outlet could have a Low Signal Problem
Next Take the First TV that was not working properly and put it on the cable outlet of one of the TVs that is working properly and if the TV set works on that Channel then you know it is not your TV that it must be the cable
