The lcd screen on my ax245w is black. Was working fine then i turned it on and the screen is just black. I havn`t dropped it or done anything to damage it.

Your phone is water damage and there might be multiple issues. If you can, just open the iphone and try to clean LCD connector. It seems like there is short on LCD connector and it is causing issue. If you clean it with contact cleaner your phone will work 100% fine.

if that does not work then you for sure need iphone screen replacement you can do it yourself or the best is to take to cell phone repair store and get it fixed.

Hi,from the problem you are experiencing it's obvious that the problem is from the lcd screen,the shock it sustained when it dropped is responsible for the damage on the lcd screen again.
The solution is to replace the lcd screen but you have to be more careful with the phone,the iphone is a very fragile phone which should be handled with extra care,if the screen is replaced and you mistakenly drop it again,i'm sorry,you will have no choice but to keep replacing the screen,which is not good enough for you economically and also for the efficiency of the pone.

Turns out my husband must have pressed a button by accident. The bottom left button says "disp" for display. Pressing that fixed the screen!

Your bottom lcd is busted. It'll have to be replaced.



Look online for Nintendo DS bottom lcd replacements.. Fairly cheap

Sounds like you need new LCD display, Yours may be cracked from the drop, Would probably cost about, $120.00.

I have the same problem I went to the canon service department and they told me that its a common problem and the image sensor has to be change it will cost me 160.00 depending on the area where I'm getting it done so for me it's better to buy a new one.

There is a temporary fix that works sometimes but eventually it will stop working alltogether. If canon can't help, might try this:

have the LCD/screen replace...take it to a mobile tech and have that done.
