I am trying to reprogram my clk1 wireless keypad for a new Chamberlain opener. My clicker manual refers to either green or orange smart buttons, bot not purple, which my opener has. The programming instructions for ggreen or orange buttons do not work. Any suggestions?

How do I reprogram a Clicker Product wireless keypad (model Number: KLIK2) for a chamberlain opener. It has a smart button on the opener.

It is a pain in the b---. Follow the instructions given for your chamberlain opener (correct color memory button), install a nice new hot battery and keep doing the deed till you get it to work!!!!!!!!!

My Sears remote keypad model clk1 fcc id hbw1579 stopped working after 6 years. I changed the battery but its still not working. Does it need to be re-programed? If yes, how?

Shouldn't need programming but you can try this.

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

If this doesn't work you will need a new keypad.

I have a 1265-267 opener and I accidentally deprogrammed the automatic opener clicker. It still will open when I push "hardwired" button inside the garage, but won't open with the clicker. How do I...

On the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find the smart/learn button. Press and hold the button on your clicker while you press and immediately release the smart/learn button. Should do the trick.
