I want to change my asus wireless router password
Changing the password is not the same as resetting the password. I think you want to change the password, in which case you will have to log on to the router, go into the security/administration section put the old password and the new password 2 times and you are all set. And if you do not have the password to log into the router, then, please contact the owner of the router for the password.

SOURCE: How do I change my password?
Connect to your router preferably with a network cable. login via your browser to http://192.168.1.1 using admin as both the login and password. Once logged in it should give you a message to change the password, but if not, you will easily find the location for making a password change. Just make sure you write your new password down so you can change it on every machine you wish to allow on your network.

There is a reset button in the back, small pin hole, hold it in for 10 seconds.
This will restore it to when it was new so you will have to reset all your settings.
The user will be- admin and the password -linksys
or check your manual if these don't work.

If your computer isn't configured with the WPA key you created, the only way to access the router is with a direct connection with an ethernet cable.
