How can i format sony ericsson k800i

Hi..my K8001 is stuck...i get only white screen wen i restart the phone...please let me knw ho i can format the phone...i cud do thats with my nokia phones...but dont know how to do it for my this phone...

    The screen turns black & dead. I happens 4 times before this, so i sent to shop & format the software for 50bucks (they said it always happened to this model). Pls give solution so i can format it myself. Thank you.

    my K8001 is stuck...i get only white screen when i restart the phone and when i switch off also white screen.so i just pull off the battery ...please let me knw ho i can format the phone...i cud do thats with my nokia phones...but dont know how to do it for my this phone...

    I have the same problem
    happened to me while i was transfering files and then the phone just disconnected from the computer and whenever i try to turn it on it gets stuck after like 10-15 seconds
    i can only turn it off by taking out the battery

When i switch on my cp i get only white screen it only turn off when i remove the battery pls. let me know how i can format my phone

To format phone in menu go to setting in setting security setting next restore factory setting followed by phone code will format ur phone

I had same problem with mine! It is the software that has crashed and requires a full software reimage. You will need to take to a repairers who can connect to computer and reload fresh image. I am in uk and mine cost about £30.

K880i white flashing screen
White Screen Of Death. Quite common on Sony Ericsson phones. My K800i does it every time its battery shuts off while it's on (so I try to make sure it doesn't). You need to (google terms) reflash sony ericsson phone Maybe also first backup GDFS The photos, except those on the memory card, and other stuff will be lost, I'm afraid. But good news is that your contact list can likely be saved by backing up the GDFS.
