J600 strip problem. changed before 1 month. still problem. what is the cost of strip.

Rupees 485/- If you go to Samsung showroom.
and If you prefer other cell repairing shop it costs around 200 to 300 or even cheaper but it will not last long.I did like this only thing I thought I saved money but it again got the same problem within 2 months.

Better prefer showroom.

its a problem of some patti which help the mobile to slide go and change it approx cost rs 250

Problem :-
If your screen has turned white as shown in the above picture then you Samsung SGH-J600 phone has a problem with strip.

Strip connects the two parts of the phone.

And since we slide our phone many times we get this kind of problem.

Solution :- You need to replace the strip at a near by Samsung showroom.
Note:- Don't try for other getting it repaired in unauthorized repairing shops for they also replace the strip for a cheaper rate but the life time will be very very small again the problem may repeat within 1 month.

as far as i know there should be a manufacturer's warranty on your phone, you need to get back to the store to have it repaired. Since you purchased it from a different country you need to contact them.

That is perhaps a common problem with samsung slider phones.
There is a Connecting Strip (Between the slider part and the phone) that needs to be replaced. I had the same Problem and got it replaced at a Samsung Service centre Free of Cost (as my phone SGH-J600 was still in warranty). Now my phone is working fine. Approx cost of the strip replacement may be around 10$.
