Oven doors detach by lifting. take the door off and it should be obvious what to fix. Be careful when handling the hinge as it has a strong spring and can give your fingers a real wack.

Thermador door oven wont close

The hinges for your oven's door would be broken or loose and should be replaced with new hinges that are the same as the old hinges where and make sure that they are the same sizes too so the oven door will close correctly.

I have a Miele H4250B oven in which the door hinge is broken. I have the replacement part, but I am not sure how to remove the old hinge from the oven

I have the same model Miele and ordered a replacement part. I have 2 Miele ovens side by side, and a door hinge on both ovens began to malfunction. I ordered and received the hinge , but when I started to install it, I found that the hinges were fine! The issue was that the 3 screws that hold the hinges to the oven frame came loose. One of them had fallen out on each of the doors, they had to be jiggled in order to close properly, which was not satisfactory. The ovens were installed 13 years ago by the original owners.

You will need to slide the oven out of its enclosed space and unscrew the sheet metal siding in order to gain access so that you can unhook the coil spring attached to hinge. I found that one of the small machine screws has fallen out on the 2 malfunctioning hinges. Once the spring is unhooked, you can align the hinge to screw it back in, and tighten the other screws that hold the door hinges. The screws on the other side has also become loose.

Oven door not closing properly

If it is a drop down door with hinges on the bootom of the oven door, then it is likely to be weak door hinge springs, the usual solution is to replace both hinges.
If it is a swing open door, then the problem is related to a worn or broken door catch, or worn striker pin.

Last year, my 8 year old Whirlpool oven door would not stay closed all the way. I ordered new hinges, replaced them and it was great for 11 months. Still under warranty, I replaced them a second time......

Are you replacing the hinge guides as well? The hinge is usually only one half of the problem. When you remove the door, look into where the upper long arm of the hinge resided. You will see a little runner wheel. Touch it with a thin screw driver and see if the wheel feels loose. I'll bet at least one of them is!

Re Neff B1451 oven door not sealing against oven body at top

If you take the hinges off, you can fit some washers between the hinges and the door to make it close it further. Probably not as good as new hinges, but cheaper. 2mm of washers will close a 5mm gap

It might be because when the door was completely removed ( which they do rather easily for repairs and moving) it wasn't put back properly.
I would suggest you remove the oven door and re install.
You do not remove any screws or anything like that to remove the oven doors.
When you have the oven door open squeeze each hinge and shift then both outwards it will release the door from the hinge, the hinge stays on but the door will slide off the hindge. Afterwards check the alignment and reinstall the oven door

Electrolux Oven EOG9330

Hope this helps (technique used on EOG9330XN):
1) With the door open, on each hinge, there is a top cover which lies flush with the hinge. Simply swing this cover up and back towards you. This unlocks the hinge. Undo both and carefully close the door, holding it at the bottom. The door should be able to be pulled away from the frame now. Lay the door on a flat surface.
2) The oven will normally be attached to the surrounding built-in cupbpard. If so, unscrew all attachment screws (mine had at least three per side) and pull the whole oven out about seven inches, supporting if neccessary. Each side panel has a locating screw in bottom front corner, so remove the screw. Peel back the side panel (only thin alloy, but watch for sharp edges) sufficiently to see.....
3) The two side securing screws for the door hinge receiver should be visible. After pulling receiver forward, if loose, tighten securing screws (use lock washers if available, as Electrolux don't provide them).
4) Reverse the procedure to finish job, fitting the door in the near vertical position to engage hinges in the receivers. Support the door, lower to open position and flip the locking hinge covers back.
[This technique works if the hinges aren't worn and if the door doesn't close properly, it usually means that the receivers are loose and have been pushed back into the oven frame].
