My Frigidaire Affinity ATF6000FS1 front loader will drain and function properly until it gets to the final spin. it shuts off when there is about 7 minutes left on the timer. I have tried small loads with no success. It is only 2 yrs old. Where can I get a diagram of where the motor and filter are. Any suggestions?

It's the timer control, not the motor or filter. Try a different setting. You should also be able to find more information on the manufacturers website, along with a manual and possibly a diagram. Also You Tube is a good place to find out more on how to repair it.

IF there is an E attached to the 45, it is your control board and the control board would need to be replaced. This is per the "Washer Tech Data Sheet"Hope that helps...

SOURCE: My Frigidaire Affinity front loader smells like mold

Ours gets a musty smell because water gets trapped in the air-tight drum. I leave the door open in order to let the water evaporate. Also, the owners manual tells you to remove and clean out the soap dispenser drawer and the area that the drawer fits into. We have to do this monthly, as both get coated with black mold.

SOURCE: I have a frigidaire affinity front loader washer

There is an auxiliary switch in the door lock and switch assembly that is activated at the end of the wash cycle for the machine to advance to the spin cycle. This is a safety feature to prevent the door from opening during the spin cycle and the machine will not spin unless the switch is activated. The machine works except advancing to the spin cycle and this signifies that the auxiliary switch cannot be activated and the door lock and switch assembly is faulty. Replaced the door lock and switch assembly (part #131763202) to address the issue.

Disconnect power to the machine. Open the washer door then look for the retaining hoop securing the door seal around the lip of the door opening. Stretch the retainer spring of the door seal retaining hoop then remove it.

Carefully peel off part of the door seal from the lip of the door opening near the door lock and switch assembly. Remove enough of the door seal to gain access to the door lock and switch assembly.

Remove the screws securing the door lock and switch assembly to the front panel. Once the screws are removed, lift the door lock and switch assembly then pull it away from the front panel.

Take the door lock and switch assembly out of the machine. Disconnect the electrical connections then connect it to the new door lock and switch assembly.

Put the new door lock and switch assembly back into position in the front panel and secure it with the securing screws.

Properly put the eased part of the door seal back over the lip of the door opening then secure it with the retaining hoop.

Disconnect power then open the door and remove the spring-hoop assembly that secures the door gasket. Peel off the part of the door gasket near the door lock and switch assembly. Remove the screws securing the door lock and switch assembly to the front panel then pull the door lock and switch assembly out. Transfer the wires to the new door lock and switch assembly then install into place. Put the door gasket back and secure it with the spring-hoop assembly. What are the cubic feet for the affinity atf6000fs1

Hello Friend, this is Z. That's a great question!

I show that your Frigidaire Affinity washer (ATF6000FS1) has a total capacity of 3.5 cubic foot. Hope this helps! If there is anything else that I can help you with, please feel free to reconnect.

Hums andwill not drain and do final spin

Probability is you have a blocked pump. That humming noise you are hearing on the spin, is the pump motor polling as it cannot turn. The machine will not spin until the water is out. This is the safety function of the pressure switch. Centrifugal force would otherwise cause the water to be forced out of the machine from places like the dispenser draw and flood your laundry.

My Affinity front loader works fine but shuts down early at last 6 min no spin soaking wet cloths

Hello James Banks - Often when a unit does not spin, it is because the unit cannot properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does the unit make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the washer may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the unit. Thanks for allowing me to help you.

My frigidaire fron loader will not spin during wash cycle but will spin when placed on spin

If the drain pump is working correctly and you can get it to spin manually, then the board is faulty. Had the exact same problem with an Lg front loader 40 min. ago.(have to replace the board.)

My washer will not drain the water and the spin-Model ATF6000FS1

I had the same problem but bought a new washer. As we were parting this washer out we found that there is a black rubber boot the attaches to the water pump. There is a filter inside of this boot and it was clogged with hair, string, and almost 2 bucks in change. No wonder it wouldnt drain. Check yours and see if thats your problem too!
