My solution is save out files redo windows and disable updates and have a good firewall and virus program and spyware program onboard and if it works without updates then you know where problems lie.

BUFFERING SLOW, THEN PICTURE COMES THEN DROPS.

You probably have a slow internet connection. It is recommended that you have a minimum 25/25 Mbps connection from your provider. If you do then the streaming stick might be too far from your wireless router. Try to move the router closer to the Streaming Stick if possible. The best way to watch streaming video is with a wired ethernet connection with a Roku 3 or other wired device. Good Luck!

Computer

Choppy Video? What do you mean choppy video? Is the video starting and stopping rather than playing continuous? If so, either you need more memory or the site you are watching the video from is slow. Also sometimes you line speed on the computer might be slow if you are watching the video online.

How does the video play if you played a DvD in your computer? If it plays the DvD without stalling, then your problem is more than like the site you are watching or the line speed as you stream the video.

How 2 play online vedio from u-tube plz tell me

You can play video from youtube, first u av to install adobe flash player or plugin. Then you must have a fast internet connection, that can stream the video fast. If your internet connection is slow, it will reduce the rate at which the video streams. i will also advice you to get a youtube downloader. instead of watching online, you can download to your pc and watch any time.

I have had problems with streaming video during

Doing my best to give you a correct solution and understanding
Issue : delays in streaming video
Environment :
ISP : Bellsouth
Router : wireless WRT150N
Solution :
"Downside to streaming"
Traffic jams.
Internet isn't a direct pipeline from the source to you. Streamed content passes through many other computers on its way to your computer via your ISP. If any one of them is carrying too much other traffic, the streamed content may be interrupted and pause. Streamed content is "buffered" to help avoid this, but sometimes it's unavoidable.
(test the downstream and upstream speed and alose test the download )
(Checked deleting the temporary files and folders)
(Checked firewall and Anti virus)
A slow computer :
if you have too many applications open, it could slow down your media streaming. If you notice things are sluggish, close all unnecessary applications and windows running on your computer. Just keep your Web browser and your media player open.
Noisy phone lines.
phone line that isn't free of noise (humming, crackling), that's not good for streaming (or Web browsing). Disconnect any phones that cause a buzz or hum.

I just upgraded my PC 300PL IBM computer's RAM from 128 MB, to 256 MB on each slot (3 slotes), When i watch videos from my pc, or videos from online sites, The playback is slow and choppy. I was wondering...

The problem is that the video-player on your computer is "starving" for audio/video, because your download-speed is not fast-enough to "feed" the stream.

So, when a video starts to play, click PAUSE, and wait for the download to proceed for a while; then, click PLAY, to view the already-downloaded stream.

Streaming audio/video quality can be affected by connection rate and Internet congestion. Many types of interruptions between your computer, your player, your computer's OS, your local network, your ISP and a streaming server can exist and cause trouble....
When you listen to the live audio/video stream, the sound or video skips, cuts out or buffers if the player doesn't have enough network bandwidth, it will buffer. Try increasing your player's buffering setting. Also:
  • Make sure you are choosing the appropriate bandwidth version of a media stream based on your Internet connection.
  • Make sure you are choosing the appropriate bandwidth settings in an Internet media player or streaming audio/video recorder.
  • Make sure NOT to download applications or files while watching/listening to media streams. Your Internet connection is shared between all open applications including your web-browser, your download manager and your streaming player. Closing applications that use your Internet connection simultaneously with your streaming player may reduce buffering.
  • Close other unnecessary applications that may be open on your computer. Reboot your computer. If you have lots of other programs open, they may be using too much processor time and/or RAM for the player to work properly.
  • Make sure your Internet connection is fast enough to reliably listen to streaming audio and/or watch streaming video online. High speed Internet connection is recommended.
  • Make sure your computer is fast enough. If your computer is old, it might be too slow to play an audio/video stream regardless of what else it's doing.
  • Update your media players and streaming audio/video recorders regularly.
Internet congestion can slow down the delivery of the stream, make it difficult for you to connect or cause buffering. Often the interruption is temporary. Please try to connect a few times at different times of the day, if possible. If you repeatedly have problems connecting, please notify your ISP - there are often quick fixes they can make when they learn about your issue.

Try the above steps you will find a solution to your problem....100% it will work.....
