The trick here is to get to the CMOS/BIOS (referred in the manual as the 'reserve') battery. Remove this battery and leave the unit with no battery, A/C power or CMOS battery for an hour or so. Then replace the CMOS battery and reassemble. Power it up. Its going to 'yell' a lot since the BIOS was flushed and all information will have to be put back in. However after you do this, you should be all set.

Ugyanez volt a problémám.
én mechanikusan tudtam csak megoldani:
Talpat leszerel.
Ezután egy csavart fogsz találni, ami az előlapot rögzíti. Kicsavarod.
Alul, a két sarokban lesz 1-1 "pattintós" műanyag. Ezeket nagyon óvatosan nyomd be valamivel (ne késsel, hanem valami tompa, életlen tárggyal).
Eztuán óvatosan el lehet választani az előlapot. én erre egy nagyobb sima csavarhúzót használtam.
A gombok egy külön panelen vannak elhelyezve, amelyik egy csatlakozón keresztül juttatja el az infót a kijelzőhöz. Ezt a csatlakozót széthúzod és vége a problémának.
Persze ezután semmit nem fogsz tudni állítani és kikapcsolni sem tudod majd a monitort, mert egyetlen gomb sem működik, de 0 forintért megoldottad a problémát.

i guess f1, f2, and all the function keys are given with added fn key in the left corner of the keypad. search for the blue icon with fn in the keypad. that should solve it. press fn along with the key you want to use.

your hard drive has failed as far as i can tell you will need to replace it take it to a sony store for verification

most likely, you need a bios update. my computer had this problem. you have to dig around some sony asia websites for them
