Hi, my front loader washing machine (Bosch Logixx 8 sensitive) has child lock written on the screen and will not start the load. ive tried switching it on and off again but it does nothing. the door is opening so its not locked closed. Please tell me what to do.

The Key symbol means the lock has been activated some how.

On most bosch of your class this is how you work it on & off.

Here`s how to deactivate it...

1) Press the "menu" button until you see "CHILD LOCK :ON" appear in the display. ( if nothing is pressed within 10 sec.following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display )

2) Once you see what I just mentioned in the display press the "select" button until "CHILD LOCK :OFF" appears in the display.

3) Finally by pressing the "start/pause" button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

Press and hold START/PAUSE button for 5 seconds and the child lock should release off.
You could have accidentally activated the child lock. If this wont work, then remove plug for few minutes then press start/pause holding it for 5 seconds to release.

My front loader washing machine(BOSCH AXXIS+) HAS THE CHILD LOCK ON.... CANT OPEN IT! TRYED UNPLUGGING IT BUT DOESNT SEEM TO WORK.. HERLP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
