How or where do you set up a wifi connection?

Is the wifi enabled, can you see any wifi networks? If not, make sure wifi is enabled, if there is button on laptop to disable/enable wifi connections, swich wifi on.

Check from control panel -> network (network and sharing center in Vista/Win7) -> change adapter settings. If wireless lan adapter disabled (grayed out).

Open your wifi on the phone and press and hold the wifi network that you want to connect to then click (modify) re-enter the security code for the wifi network again and then connect. If that does not work then the wifi signal is weak and you'll need to get closer to your router.

Another thing is to choose United States for your Wifi Region in the wifi advanced settings menu.
-- uncheck (avoid poor connections)
-- check scanning always available
-- Wifi Region Code (select United States)

When you reset the tablet your tablet wifi settings, wifi name and password will be erased. You have to detect your wifi on the tablet, connect to it and enter password right?

Goto your phone connection settings:-

Select -> Wifi -> On.

Search any Wifi Network and Connect..

If its free or open wifi connection, via phone or PC is just the same, you can connect from connection setting. If its locked or restricted wifi with password you must ask the password to the wifi administrator, I'm affraid you can't set that via phone because its wifi's source setting.

1.Verify the network key you have entered in the WIFI settings.

2. Check the Encryption type is TKIP.

3. Uncheck static IP in advanced settings.

4.Protocol must be set to HTTP in WIFI settings.

I will tell you how to set up wifi in corby 1st because it will come in handy in the second part.

1) 1 st go to menu and scroll to the right screen where the wifi shortcut is detected.r phon
2)Click on wifi and it will open and then click on the grey bubble which says wifi, this will activate your wifi.
3)Now click on search, and now your phone will search for available wifi signals.
4) If a wifi signal is available click on it and click connect. If you are accessing wifi from this source for the first time a window will pop up describing the wifi settings, now click on save and it will be saved.If the connection is a secured connection you will have to insert the password in the details
5) After saving the settings your phone will be connected to the network.
6) Once it is connected click on the wifi provider link and click start internet, now you can browse internet using wifi

To set up your gps
1) Go to menu click on settings
2) In settings go to phone settings
3)Select GPS settings
4)click on GPS + settingsr
5)Click on download data and then the phone will download data for your gps, you have to choose a profile for downloading the gps data that is whether if you are using gprs or wifi. Click the profile and you are done .
6)You will download data and to check position click on gps position in gps settings menu

go to settings and tap on "wifi" there you can change the settings for the wifi.
P.S. The ipod touch does connect automatically you need to turn it on in the wifi settings

I have reseted the router configuration back to Factory Default, and set it up again from the beginning. I think the problem was at the firewall settings.
