Your camera tries to compensate for the lack of light by overexposing the picture. You can override this by using the "exposure compensation" control. On most cameras, it's a button with a +/- on it. You press it and set the guage to a lower number. You may have to take a few shots to get the correct setting but you will find it and be happy with the results. Just remember to reset the guage to "0" when you're finished.

Did Obama ever refer a Christmas tree as a holiday tree?

No, it is a myth. The White House said

"There is no truth to this, and the letter referenced ............ does not exist. No letter has gone out yet from the White House pertaining to Christmas tree ornaments. The trees in the White House will be called Christmas trees, and the tree on the Ellipse will be called the National Christmas Tree. There will be no name changes.

We have a GE prelit christmas tree for (this is the 3rd year). everything fine until last night when a fuse blew. we replaced with the extra fuse supplied and it lit again. on the plug it says 'use only...

the candles will not have had anything to do with the fuse blowing on your tree the fault is soley with the tree fuses are available at any good electronics parts store just make sure you only use 120v 6amp if the fuse blows again you have a serious fault with the tree and dont use the lights.

in some cases fuses blow on there own fault so if the fuse last then it was simply a worn fuse

best of luck

merry christmas
