Its a drain error not fully drained within 10 mins you can go to appliancerepairplanet.vstore.ca

The OE error means that the water level sensor is seeing that the unit is overfull. This can be because it is actually overfull or the water level sensor circuit is not working correctly.
First things first. You might have clothes stuck in the washer so lets get those out. We need to make sure there isn't any water left in the unit so lets get it pumped out. Turn off the two water lines that connect to the washing machine (hot and cold). Plug the unit back in and the OE error should occur right away and pump the remaining water out of the washing machine. Look in the window of the unit. If there is water visible, do not do the next step to open the door. Your pump may not be working and if that is the case, you will have to manually drain the unit via the front access panel in the bottom right front of the machine. Get a bucket and pull the stopper out of the black hose and drain away.

Once you know the unit is empty, Plug it back in and see if the OE code occurs again. If it does, you now know that the level sensor circuit is at fault because there is no water in the unit. To get your clothes out, unplug the unit for 60 seconds. Now plug it in and hold down the power button, spin button and silver care button at the same time. The unit should come on and all of the lights on the control panel will be illuminated. You will hear the door solenoid click and you should be able to open the door. Do this as soon as you hear it unlock because the OE error will come back quickly and this will lock the door again..

Now you can get your clothes out. Once this is complete you need to determine the solution to the problem. If your pump is working (you will hear it when the OE error occurs because the unit will continously try to pump the water out, you can dump a picher of water into the drum while you hear the pump and you should hear it pump out. If that is all working, then you know the problem is with either the level sensor or the control pcb.

The level sensor on this unit is at the top on the right side. It has a 3 terminal connection and a single tube that connects to the bottom of it. This is a variable capacitive sensor so testing it is not simple. It is the cheapest part to try in the loop, but very unlikely to be the cause. If you want to try it first, the part number is DC97-03716c or cross referenced part is 34001324. Cheapest way to get the part is from Sears parts direct. If the sensor does not work, it is most likely the control pcb. The part number for this is MFS-WF318A-TO. This was the part that failed on my. It is easy to replace, just make sure you unplug the unit before disconnecting any wires.

Mine failed after my wife tried to wash all of the sheets in the house in one load. I think it was a coincidence, but maybe something got on the control board or something strange like that. Could be Murphy's law as well, happened the day before Thanksgiving with a whole lot of family headed our way :)

Sears Parts Direct was by far the cheapest source for parts and had them here in 2 days (expedited for $30). The sensor cost was ~$20 and the controller was ~$120

    Best of luck to you.

  • As already stated, this can be caused by a unit that is not draining (pump blocked, drain blocked, pump not working, stuck inlet water valve that continously supplies water into the unit). However, it can also be caused by a faulty level sensor circuit which causes the unit to think it is overfull. In my case, the pump worked fine and the unit was completely empty of water yet it still gave the OE code as if it were overfilled with water.

OE error code indicates that the washer is unable to drain the water it used during the wash cycle. OE can be triggered by a kinked drain hose or a clogged drain pump filter..... please clean drain hose back side of washing machine.. Thank you

    How do i fix "OE"code.

if it is like my dishwasher the oe code means the unit is over filled with water. My dishwasher had a major fault that blew up a circuit board and had a faulty front assembly. Still in repair shop waiting for parts.. I would deduct that the washing machine is not emptying water so I think a water pump could be failing. My dishwasher was not activating the washer motor and came up with the same code but..

What are the common fixes for OE Error Code?

OE error code is an Outlet Error.

That has to do with the drain itself. It can come up when the unit is draining slowly, it has nothing to do with water-level really. I would suggest makign sure that your drain hose is not crimped / crushed / or obstructed first before going onto other problems.

My amana front load washer just keeps filling. It is running out of the soap fill area. It is giving me code OE. Suggestions on what that means?

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. If the water keeps running, you need to check your water level switch. It may be defective. This switch controls the water level in the machine.

    Error code LE and OE

The LG error code OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Presumably the water isn’t being emptied properly. Check the exit hose, it may be clogged.
LE Code refers to a motor overload.Since the pump is blocked, the motor becomes inefficient in working.Once you get the pump cleared from blockages,I assure that you can get rid of these errors.Good luck with the machine. Please do post the results and comments.

MAYTAG NEPTUNE MAH9700AWW continues to fill on rinse, code ''oe'',

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean (ref manual, it may not be there, they want a tech to come by to make more $). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it (4 to 6 inches maximum) Of course some direct the hose into sink, fine. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Rate me nice or not at all. Happy spinning! Nice to watch the machine spin, not your head!

if the water continues to fill even with power off, and you have to manually shut in off at the wall valve, the 3-way inlet valve is stuck open. you have to replace it. $90
