I have a Chamberlain Garage Master 1/3 HP, Model 1245GM. None of the remotes work. Followed instructions on unit to reprogram the remote, the green light comes on the back when you push the button, but it never blinks. I also tried to reset by holding down button until light went out, released. Then tried to reprogram remote by holding button until light blinks, but it never blinks. Tried process above of holding button on remote and pushing/releasing the learn button, but that also did not work. The light does go out after 6-8 seconds, does not stay on 30 seconds as described above to show logic board failure. Any suggestions?

You may need to replace the battery in the remote control. Most usually these will be double A ones. You may have to reprogram it when you try it again. You should be able to get the information on Google by typing in the make of the inside unit in your garage. Your remote may have this info on it as well. You should be able to pull up instruction on how to reprogram your unit.
If the wall button will operate the door up but none of the devices do then look at the wall button. Find the lock button and push it for 2 seconds and then try the remotes again. This is your vacation lock. You can get a manual at chamberlain.com. Now if the door does not open or close with the remotes you can reprogram them. Press the colored learn button on the motor head and then press the button on the remote. Repeat for each remote. If they fail to program you will need a new logic board. Thanks BB
To erase the memory of the opener so that your old remote will no longer work you need to locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit. Press and hold this button for 6 seconds. No remotes will now work.
To program the new remote when you get it, hold the button down on the remote and then press and immediately release the smart/learn button.
Call any local door opener repair company from the yellow pages and you should be able to buy a remote from them.

This web address came from the Chamberlain site. I also needed to relearn my remotes due to a newer car that has a built in garage door opener that needed to be set. I also needed to reset my keypad remote, those instructions I was able to get from the same site. Good Luck
How does everything look well? How old is unit? Did you push learn button for 10 seconds. Then pusj for 1 second and activate a remote button. lightbulb on motor should blink. if so, hit learn again for 1 second and push button on other remote. Do you have a LOCK or VACATION button. Make sure it is off . Is light on wall console blinking. you have remotes locked out.
I had the same problem with my Craftsman opener but different model. However to fix this I simply followed the instructions that came with the opener and reprogramed the remote to the opener. The instructions are in your owners manual and are pretty straight forward.. John
