i would suggest you get a new keyboard. Has anything been spilt on it. The keys you have said, sound like a cluster that has gone within the keyboard. The keyboard shouldnt be to much. You can take a keyboard out of a laptop either by unscrewing some screws on the back with a little keybaord next to them, or you would need to carfully pry a cover next to the keyboard to show the screws that are holding it down.
go to control panel
Then regional language option
then set english united states. then apply and ok.
If you not ablwe to read french then just set english it is upperr from current selection 5 or 6 check it.
There is a small green Fn button near the start button you will have to use this with shift to use the green keys if you are in multi lingual mode, if you only use the laptop for french you can also change the regional settings for the keyboard to Just French and then they will work just by using shift.
