Kenmore Trio french door 25 cubic foot fridge with external ice and water dispenser. Fridge is just over 1 yr old (and past warranty) and the touch control pad is flashing continuously with the ice door continually opening and closing. Water and ice dispenser are not working but fridge and freezer are fine. Service rep came out and thinks it may be the control pad cicuit board as he could not get it to let him in to the programming mode (pressing door alarm button and freezer temp control at same time for 3 seconds). I am waiting to find out the price of the circuit board. Any ideas if this sounds correct?

With the problems it is presenting, I would say it's very likely.
However it may take a bit of detective work to find which board is defective.

thanks for the prompt commentary - can't find the exact circuit board on the site but at least I now have an idea of what it's going to cost.
