Every so often it says :you need to open your browser" or " you are not allowed to do this?

Turn the phone off and u have to do a hard reset on the phone and then it will work like its brand new like it did when you got it out of the box

if none of your attempts to get to a login on your router works, I assume you are trying to gain access to the login with an established computer. If so, have you tried a second wired/established computer? If you have exhausted these means, you may have to factory reset it and possibly need a firmware update.

Normally when this message appears a yellow bar at the top of the browser is also present. In IE you just need to click on it and chose the option that says "allow pop-ups". In Firefox there should be an "Allow" button at the right hand side of the yellow bar.

Most likely the website that you are trying to download the software need an ActiveX plug ins. If you see an information bar below the adrress bar that looks like this. Please allow the add on to install.

If the instruction above doesn't work, please try to reset the browser.

2. Select on Internet option
3. Click on Advanced tab
4. On the bottom right corner click on Reset.

this error code indicates that there is a problem with your firewall settings on your router not allowing your dsi to connect to the internet, while your dsi can connect to your router it's not allowing it to access the internet. The best way to get to the firewall settings is to find out your router ip address. most routers have the ip 192.168.1.1, but to be sure from a pc click on start, in the search field enter cmd, and open up command prompt. in here type "ipconfig" and this should bring you up your computer ip and your routers, the router been the "default gateway" so whatever number is after the default gateway type this into your browser to access your routers settings. you may need to contact nintendo or your isp provider to help you change the settings here to allow your dsi to access the internet. The default port number the dsi uses is 8080, so perhaps your router is blocking this port number for some reason, and you need to unblock it. Hope this helps and best of luck with it.
