I am thinking of purchasing a faulty furreal pony - apparently it doesn't react to touch and the head does not move properly, making loud cracking noises when moving. Can this be mended and if so how much? Thank you Bethan

The price of shipping to the UK from the US will probably cost as much as buying a new one in the box. you can get a new one in the box for $199 US and that is brand new compared to the broken one. Hasbro has no parts for these toys, they don't make them anymore. You're better off with the new one and figuring out how much P&P will be.

Butterscotch pony head not working

First, calling poor Grace at Hasbro will provide fruitless. Hasbro does not make any parts for the full size FurReal Ponies, they have nothing in stock and cannot help you. I, however, can. I am going to post a link to a distressing site that turns the normal FurReal Pony into a fire breathing demon. However, in the process, you can see the diagram of the skeleton of the pony and head. You can search for other links but this is pretty comprehensive. Just don't open when kids are around.

Butterscotch pony makes gallop sound but very loud whirring noise at same time and head doesn't move side to side

Hey, that sounds like something in your pony's neck mechanism broke. Sadly Hasbro doesn't repair these ponies anymore and you have to investigate it yourself. You can follow this tutorial on removing the head: Hasbro FurReal Friends Smores Butterscotch Pony Head Removal How To...

Butterscotch pony

Hey, the blue and grey wire under the neck fur does not connect to anywhere. It was likely a debug port while Hasbro was testing the ponies. You can try moving the ear by hand when it's supposed to move but it is likely broken inside the head and would need a lot of work to repair.

Furreal pony head clicking when moves

More information would really help :) Is this a new sound? The animatronics make S'mores sound like a middle school robotics project rather than a horse. It sounds like you should contact Hasbro's customer support at 1-800-327-8264 for their expert advice and response. :)

Replacement battery holder

Hasbro doesn't even have FurReal ponies on their site anymore and emails don't get answered. I would call Hasbro directly from the following link and ask about the battery compartment.

Good luck :)

How do I reassemble the head of the FurReal Pony?

The Pony Care Guide refers to an "Assembly Video" on the FurRealFriends.com site. I couldn't find it and even went through a gazillion videos on YouTube. Contact Hasbro directly through this link to see if they can send you a link to the Assembly Video:

Furreal pony, Butterscotch, Head floppy/leans left

There is a smaller "u" shaped spring in the middle of the neck mechanism that I found one side was snapped off. Looks normal, but it's broken. I made one out of a coat hanger for temporary purposes and it works like new! I will order one from Hasbro. Hope this helps!
