SOURCE: door locks problem with one door drivers door
dont blame the idiot,we all make stupid mistakes without thinking and iam no exception,remove door trim and oil the solonoid with a oil can not a silly sunday mechanic spray and let it soak in as its working but i think its just a bit sticky with wear and dirt ingress hence it locks but doesnt unlock which might need a bit more power,oil the whole lot lock and all

Hmm, probably a dead battery. The problem with those locks is that they are electrically actuated, not mechanically unlocked. Thats why the key turns easily. If you turn and hold it to the unlock position, and the battery is okay, the windows will roll down. If they dont, then its the batt. Call a mechanic.

You will probably need to replace the power door lock actuator.

SOURCE: transit doors not locking
james i have had the same problem on a transit an trace the problem in the wiring to the rear right door where the wirin goes through the plastic slider between the door and the vehcle i had to cut out the damaged wiring and run new and solder up make sure the wires you put in are long enough too so you can open the door all the way , failing this think logically which is the door opened and closed the most ,ther might be your prob in the wiring between the door and vehcle
