Necklace wrapped around bottom of agitator

So I have a GE Washing Machine Model Type: GHWP1000MOWW and my washer ate my necklace and is underneath the agitator. I tried doing that ^ but there's this plastic cover underneath the protective cap! What do i do? GE agitators are pressed on. To remove, firmly grasp the bottom of the agitator with both hands, one on each side. Pull hard and abruptly, straight up being careful not to hit your face or chin with the top of the agitator.
