My diesel space heater does not come on anymore, it was working fine until i noticed that the socket where it was pluged into at garage had a loose wire as you had to fiddle about to get power tools working, last time i had this heater working i can remember having problems with the socket, could the socket have caused a problem inside the heater,??i have checked inside allover cannot see any obstructions,

Why does my 57 plate diesel cruiser, heaters ,also my a/c,not work at times, and when they do,and i put on boost, the controls get red hot,and i loose power,as if it,s dropping a cylinder,,could this be

Sure Bro. No problem. Now I can't tell you about the controls heating up, other than maybe a hot wire on them, but your A/C control stuff is all actuated by vacuum. ALL of it. Thing is, diesel has no vacuum to make stuff on heat and A/C work, PERIOD. So you have to incorporate a vacuum pump that should be a part of your system that apparently is not making vacuum. That's the cause, you have to fix the vacuum. Maybe just a faulty line or disconnected, but could be a replaceable vacuum pump also. Git'rdun so you can ride in comfort. I do. My A/C works just fine.

IS IT BEST TO USE KEROSENE OR DIESEL IN HEATERS

Kerosene is best. It's better for the machine as it's cleaner and will need less maintenance plus it won't run smokey

I have a Remington 100 Heater. Was running fine until we had to refuel with kero that has a die in it. The heater will run for about 10-15 mins. then just start smoking with a heavy fuel smell. Cleaned the...

Similar heaters that use diesel have to routinely cope with the dye added to untaxed fuel, ditto similar heaters that use both fuels. Unless there was an excess of dye in the fuel you used the problem was probably a coincidence.

Dirt can be a big problem due to corrosion forming in the fuel tank caused by a relatively large percentage of moisture naturally in the fuel and the formation of condensation. Fuel is generally filtered through a fine gauze when the tank is filled but there is little or no filtration preventing dirt already in the tank from being picked up and finding a way into the spray head which generally jams the spinner affecting the quality of the fuel spray.

Cleaning the spinner and nozzle might work for a while but only a major clean out will restore reliability until the next time. It is also wise to check and adjust the pressure of the air pump.

GE WJSE3110A0WW washer works fine until the six-minute stage on timer, then it will not spin or agitate. Sounds like it is trying, but does not function properly until time associated with six minutes...

i've had the same problem until i pluged it directly into the wall socket not with a drop cord that way you can get the full voltage needed to run the machine and don't plug it in a socket that has other items pluged in it

Ready heater forced air 60 kerosene run for 4 min or so and dyes

First CARBON MONOXIDE WILL KILL YOU

#2 fuel is too dirty, use #1 or clear K-1.

I have found when running mine in any confined space like a garage, it will consume too much oxygen if not vented. It might run till it draws down the oxygen level. You start at 21% and draw down the oxygen to 14% that is where mine kicks out.

Clean out the filter, flush the tank, put in clean K-1, You might need to replace the igniter. Check your fuel line pressue (mine was 4 psi).
Good Luck

HARD START AND BLOWING SMOKE

clean all of your filters and the spark plug and go back to useing K1 kerosene. Diesel fuel has a higher ignition temp. burns dirty and has a tendency to gel.
