I bought house when all the utilities such as gas, water, power were turned off. Every thing is turned on now. For some reason my heat is not working. I have Goodman Heating furnance GMT070-4. The gas volve is turned on. The Gas swtich is on also. This unit should ignite itself according to the instructions on the unit. I hear the fan turning on, then see the ignitor turning red hot. But it turns off in a minute. It keeps turning on and off every minute. Please help.

Some combi boilers have a 'Keep Warm' function. Check to see if your combi has this feature. This is a function where the system preheats an amount of hot water to provide instant hot water when you turn on the tap/faucet. To do this the combi will start up when it detects the stored water is below a certain temperature to reheat it ready for use. This can be turned off if you prefer not to use it.
Did they turn the power off to the heater before you bought the house?
Check there first. I used to shut the power off to ours when going on vacation. Check curcuit breaker if its hydro and if its gas make sure the the gas is turned on and pilot is lit.
You would need to buy a propane hot water heater. Unfortunately you can not convert an electric hot water hearter to propane.
I didn't want to use either an electric or gas hot water heater so I invested in a solar hot water heater for my home. Best thing that I ever did as far as saving money. Once it is paid off then the benefits are lower utility bills.
It is somewhat confusing with the information provided. So, 3 houses, and you need to have the gas, water and electricity come into the house without these 3 utilities crossing each other. I am an electrician and I can give you this solution from my experience. I rather like to have all the utilities enter a house at the same location. This gives me an area in the house where I have everything including telephone and cable enter and this allows me more space in the house because the utilities are not taking space in other rooms.
So, water is usually installed from about 8 feet down in the ground. Electrical can be buried at 3 feet and the gas is the tricky one. The thing with gas and electrical is this. If you cross a propane line with electrical the electrical must be above the propane line by a minimum of 1 foot. Propane is heavier than air and will flow down in to a trench so electrical is above. If crossing natural gas, then the electrical is below the gas. Natural gas rises. Water is not a problem for either. I would check with local regulations for exact measurements and procedures.
No pilot. Unplug the power to the unit and it cannot run/ignite. There is a shutoff on the valve behind the front panel if you want to turn off the gas supply without moving the dryer.

By sealed unit you mean that the burner air comes from outside of the house?
You have checked the heat exchanger for cracks by removing the burners and looking with a mirror and flashlight, correct, or had a service tech so?
The furnace burners have enough air and are burning clean (blue) with just a tip of orange at the end? You bought the house new and the fireplace has never been used? If it has been used to clean smoke for the house for whatwever reason I woudl start by havign the ducts cleaned.
Another possibility I have seen is insolation inside of ductwork breaking down.
