I have a LG TROMM front loader washer(Wife's machine), 3 years old, I keep getting a OE code, I replaced both drain hoses, took the pump completly apart, cleaned both impellers, checked both motors, put it all back together, same problem, doesn't drain. The OE code shows in the book that there is a plugged or kinked drain hose, not...

There may be a few different reasons why the OE error code can display on your washing machine. Is it the LG washer getting the OE error code? The OE error code on the LG washing machine display is an indication of a NO DRAIN issue. The 3 issues that may cause this fault code is a bent drain hose, the drain pump filter is blocked, or the drain pump may have foreign objects lodged in it making it unable to drain. All these issues can cause your LG washer to display the error code OE. With all these different reasons, checking all 3 components will clear the error and fix your LG washing machine.
that's draining error. check the filter cleanout behind lower left panel on front of machine; of course drain 1st via small drain hose. if thats o.k the drain pump itself may be jammed with debris or the drain hose could be clogged.
That is actualy a DE (drain error) code. Open the access door at the lower left on front of the washer. Use the little hose to drain the remaining water out of the machine. Now, unscrew the big knob next to it and remove the attached filter. Clean out the filter and re-install. If the filter was clear, you will need a new pump motor.
An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes. However, the OE error code does not always mean that the washer requires a service call. If periodic maintenance has not been performed on the washer, there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service. Step 1: Check the drain pump filter. Items caught in the drain filter will prevent proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine. Step 2: Check the washers drain hose. If the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine. Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly. If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a LEVEL on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confrim that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.
The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
LG themselves have some information on this error code..

All of the ways to solve this problem are right on--take the filter out (in front on the bottom left when facing the machine). Before you do, take time to drain out the water with the hose below. Once drained open the filter and clean out. Try on speed wash with no spin. Nine minutes in you will know if the drain works. If not, turn on side and remove the washer pump. To do this, remove the hoses first starting with clamps. Then remove the three screws in front where the filter is. It easily comes out. The top pump is the drain pump. First mark the wires--blue is positive and black is negative. Remove the pump and clean out.The pump comes out of the casing. Try removing this and cleaning. If you have a power source, test the pump. If works, put back and start in fast cycle with no spin. If not, then you have to replace the drain pump. You will not find anyone in town the has the pump unless you live in New York or Dallas Texas. To get the pump at a reasonable price and expedited call and order through Sears at 18004881222. These guys are good and well get it to you as promised. The entire job once recieved the pump took about 30 minutes. Also, saved about $100 in labor. Good luck and hope this helps...
