Reset new codes and old existing codes won't erase, the original code from last year still works, even after installing 2 new codes

Here's the link to the online instructions:

Programming instructions are on page 6. Notice that allowing too much time between inputs will be a problem.
If you cannot successfully override your existing codes, contact Weiserlock Customer service:

A note about PDF files: You will need adobe Reader or equivalent installed if you are unable to view the instructions. http://get.adobe.com/reader/

How do I clear (erase) all codes from my Weiser Powerbolt 1000 in order to start with fresh entries? Adding new codes does NOT override/delete old existing codes as page 7 of my manual indicates. I now...

How do I change the access code (and delete my old code) on my Powerbolt 1000?
The steps below are to change your access code to a new code. This will also remove any previous codes stored in the Powerbolt's memory.

pb1000programbutton.jpg

  1. Manually put the bolt in the extended (lock) position. Press the PROGRAM button once, enter your new 4 - 8 digit code and then press the LOCK button.
  2. Press the PROGRAM button twice, enter the same new code and then press the LOCK button once.
  3. Press the PROGRAM button three times, enter the same new code and then press LOCK once.

If your old code still remains in the unit, you will need to perform a hard reset of the unit. To perform a hard reset of the unit, remove all four batteries and leave them out for 1 hour. After the hour has passed, you may re-enter the batteries.

I want to clear the old code on my Weiser lock and enter a new code and i don't have a book

Here's a free manual you can print out with complete installation and programming instructions you can keep for addressing any other concerns you might have in the future.

I thought this might be easier for you to work from, since you want to reset the lock prior to entering in your new master code and any other access codes you wish to let others use.

It is easy and straight forward to program and use.
