I'm getting error "F21" how do I reset this?

Error f21 happens when the machine does not drain in an appropriate time. This can be caused by a blockage in the drain or a faulty pump. There is a previous post in relation to resetting this error. have siemens washing machine that says f21 what does that mean

Not draining error something is clogged in the tub to pump hose or the pump u got is no good

You may have to unplug it for about 15 minutes and try again. I had a similar problem and this helped.

CCU/Touchpad/LED assembly error (f21)
This error occurs if the touchpad/DED assembly is not able to transmit/receive data to/from the central control unit (CCU)
1. Check the touchpad/LED assembly by selecting different cycles and changing the modifiers and options available to confirm the touchpad/LED is responding 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power for five minutes. This will reset the CCU, and may reactivate the communication if the damage isn't severing. 3. Check Wire Harness connectors to the touchpad/LED assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU).

F21 error is displayed when the washer is unable to drain, press PAUSE/CANCEL button twice to clear the display. After this please check the drain hose and drain pump filter for any blockages and make sure it is not clogged with foreign particles. You can also check the drain pump to verify that its working. Unscrew the pump, there is probably objects in the pump, I get that error every month or so, I find coins in my pump all the time, if too much stuff gets in there the code F21 or sometimes SD comes up.
