Restriction code is to prevent use your phone with other SIM card(from different network). You can obtain your unlock code from your network provider (I se 3AU-well good luck mate).
If you're on pre-pay you have to spend certain amount($120 or so) using top up before 3 will issue a code for you. If you're on contract you won't get the code until your contract is up.

if you ring 3 (customer care) and ask them for your unlock code they should give it to you if its a 6288.Say you have new 3 phone and you want to give it to little sister etc

the problem is the flex cable .it cost about 12 euros but you have to take it to authorized technical center or to a technician
