All of a sudden my Canon ir 2220 indicates error 751 when scanning documents. It was working fine the day before and has done for 3 years.

ScanGear won't run under Vista. The scanner works with other programs. (Twain works) ScanGear fails and Vista closes it.

We do not work for FixYa.... This a free web site to answer questions you may have FOR FREE. I DO NOT GET PAID FOR THIS INFO........ OK, on the same page????? I have had this problem before, I, also ordered a lamp and the pcb and it did not work as well. I had to take a lamp and pcb from a working copier of the same mode to finally solve the problem. Try that first... It could also be a problem with the CCD unit?

Does it show error code? Also does it ever get out of the wait state? The "bar" at the bottom? Also, does it ever go in to the regular display sceen? If the display turns black, do you see a code or numbers like "602-001" ? Need some more info then just turns on and then off
