When I press the power button on my washing machine a code comes up on the screen. LQC Test Mode V2.13 000 062 028 246 030 030 014 All the lights light up and no buttons will respond. Turn the dial and nothing happens. I had Sears come out 3 times on the fourth call they ordered a new PCB display and replaced it. It has been a week since part was replaced and now it wont work and the same display as above comes up on the washer. Any answers

Why dont you people read the user's manual? You wil learn abt your machine, to a certain extent. Try "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 5 seconds. Works for other machines...............And please rate me if helped................

OK, Mister solution #1 only tells you to not pay, and offers no advise but to call A & E. (check A & E complaints on the internet and you'll be at it for days).

You do not have an "OE" error, you have a "DE" error. DE error is "drain error" which displays if the washer has not pumped out after 10 minutes. If there is water in the machine and no obstruction in the filter I would suspect that the pump impeller is bad, and you would need a new pump motor. (part # 4681EA2001D) Pump motor is located directly to the left of the filter, and can be accessed by tilting the washer back and reaching it from underneath. The pump housing is held onto the machine by three phillips head screws.

If you have "DE" error and there is no water in the machine that's a whole different problem I'll address if you say that's the case.

If you need good service, try calling a small dealer who sells and services the procuct line you are having a problem with. You can find LG servicers at us.lgservice.com but avoid the utility companies, A & E, Sears, and all the big guys who try to service every brand but often times are not very familiar with your brand.

The "CL" code is not an error! This means "Child Lock"!
To unlock a washing machine you will press and holding within 3-5 sec two button, marked "child lock".

HI, this is a Door Open Error.

Possible Causes are..-

* Door not all the way closed
* Loose electrical connections at door switch and pwb assembly(Control Board)
* Door switch assembly is out of order(Miss aligned)
* Gasket on door may be creased in

Most common issue here will be a defective door lock switch. check all causes before replacing the switch.

This might be Lid cover open protection. There is a small magnet at the edge of the lid cover, housed in some sort of a catch.
If the plastic housing cracked, the magnet might have dropped into the washing drum. To overcome this, place a magnet on the position where the plastic catch will contact the washer when the lid is close.
