How to disable or reset a Prestige car alarm. Purchased a used car with an after market Prestige alarm installed. Alarm somehow tripped and shut off the ability to start the car. I can't find a valet button anywhere. I found the fuse in a little box next to the battery. When I pulled that the car still will not start and now there is a clicking sound in the main fuse box. Any suggestions on what to do?

The valet switch,on the newer Prestige alarms, is a push button LED or, it's incorporated into the antenna. In both cases, turn the key to the on position, then press and release the valet switch. The alarm will respond with two chirps confirming that it is disarmed. You may now start the vehicle. After you successfully disarmed the alarm, turn the key to on position, press and hold the valet switch for approximately 5 seconds, the LED will come on solid. Turn the key off.The alarm is now in valet. You can take it out of valet in the same manner.
