LG Top loader not draining water to rinse and spin

Went through wash cycle got stuck on rinse when water had to drain

    I have the same problem, my LG Top loader is not always draining. What this mean is that it is able to do it when I pause it and re-start again, several times. Sometimes I have to wait for 5 minutes and power it again with only the rinse cycle and it start working. But it last hours washing because this problem. I have to stop and start again unti it get draining and spining. I unassembled the pump and cleaned it however it didn't solve the problem. I really appreciatte your help on this. What other procedures may I follow in order to fix it.

    My machine has the same problem. I have to drain it manually as it will not drain by itself at all anymore. The timer counts down to 9 minutes and stops.

    My LG 8kg top loader goes through the cycle and stops at 9 minutes and gives an OE error code. I have cleaned the pump, pipes and air valve. There is no improvement. Please help.

    Went through the wash starts rinse cycle, but does not complete it, gets stuck and starts bleeping as if the lid is open. Then jumps back to the wash cycle.

    Wont rinse and drain properly after cycle. Now it just clicks off and on, but won't run any of the cycles.

YOU NEED TO CHECK THE WATER PUMP,SO LAY THE MACHINE ALL THE WAY DOWN ON ITS FRONT,NOW YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE PUMP.Remove any debris that may be lodged inside of it.

The LG washing works perfectly through the wash, spin, drain, rinse, spin, drain until the last 3 minutes on the drain when it signals "NO DRAIN". The pump wants to work. I think it is an electronic problem.

I had the same problem. I drained the water putting the hose as low as possible and running it into a pan, I first tried to blow into the hose to see if it was clear. then opened the back, found the motor attached to the drain hose and found a electric wire had vibrated lose. put back together and runs like a charm. SOURCE: hitachi top loader washing machine

Could be the safety switch which is faulty which is activated by closing the lid. There is a plastic section on the left hand side of the lid which activates the switch. The plastic lip on my model broke so i riveted a piece of alumimium in place

Machine lacked about 23 minutes in cycle, it stopped with lights flashing. It will not drain, therefore cannot spin. It just beeps whenbi try to start it again.

Stopped mid wash cycle,no drain,no spin, will not go to next cycl
water pump blocked with nylon stuffing from old pillow.removed front panel from hinges under the lid. water pump at the right hand corner removed hose then removed 2 cups of nylon threads and stuffing forced into pumps small openings where it was compacted to a solid mass.

It sound like you drain hose is siphoning off the rinse water, It needs a standpipe make sure the drain hose is at about the height of the top of the washer, Make sure the drain hose isnt stuck in the drain it also needs an air cap. the drain hose should not lay on the floor to run to the drain
