Black and Decker st4000 CORDED electric trimmer/edger

I plugged in the trimmer and was using it for approximately 5 minutes when it stopped working. I tried plugging it into another outlet on the chance that I blew a fuse at my home. No luck. Is there an internal fuse on the trimmer I should be looking for to replace? If not, what other things might cause it to stop working?

Same deal here. Hit the line up against the side of the house by mistake and then nothing. I have not taken it apart yet to troubleshoot but I'm not pleased.

Black and decker edger overheats and shuts off

Use a better extension cord. Buy a extension cord with 12 gauge wire. The longer the cord, the more electrical resistance there is, which causes heat. Therefore use the smallest length of cord possible.
