I just want an owner's manual for briggs and stratton engine Model 42A707 Type 2238 E1

Compression
A spark and the right time
Fuel

When you try and start, remove the plug and see if it is wet with gas? You may have a blocked carb jet.

Check compression.

briggs has service manuals available on their website... take those numbers and search... and yes. they have a sequence and a torque spec. which is 160 inch pounds
