Hi. I have a Hamilton Beach Model 87307 and it's been working fine until last week. Now I have no cold water. The water on the hot side is boiling and the water on the cold side is very hot. I've tried unplugging and letting it set to reset for an hour. I've tried only turning on the cold water...nothing.

Our model 87330 H.B. water cooler will stop putting out cold water ; as if there was a plug-up or frozen pipe. After being unplugged for a couple of hours, it will work again for awhile before going out again. Anyone have a hint for us, please ? Sounds like the fans have stoped turning for the cooling system. If you cannot hear the fans turn on when you flip the COOL switch this is your problem. Pick the fans up at a computer parts store like Frys. Any other part failure on this unit other than a loose wire is not worth repairing.

please first check that your temperatures settings are correct for your water machine. If the setting are fine, please double check that the dispenser isn't next to a device that emits heat (ie oven, toaster, boiling pot). If not, then I would then attempt to setup the item as if it was brand new. Lastly, you can trace back your actions with the dispenser to attempt to remember the last thing you did before this issue occurred.
The heating and cooling sections are separate..these are not known to last very long. Sorry. (check the switches though - does the indicater light come on?)
