Plug charger in and will not charge the fan on the charger quits running in a few seconds it will beep with charger pluged in and when you unhook charger it clicks like a dead battery i wonder if charger is bad can you chafge each battery independently with a regular 12 volt charger to see if charger is bad

David Are you leaving the power on while you are charging the Chair? If you are try charging with power off at the joystick. The manufacturers of all power batteries do not recommend charging with automotive chargers. I would try to locate a friend or neighbor that also has a chair or scooter and borrowing their charger for a few hours to see if it will charge your chair. If not contact your provider and borrow a charger from them. If the different charger works then yours is bad. You shoud be able to order a charger through your provider or by calling Pride Mobility @ 1-800-800-8586 Hope this helps you PS I didn't say you couldn't use the "other" charger. But I wouldn't want you to think I approved of it
