F/02 Long Drain
If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed.
NOTE: After 4 minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

  • Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
  • Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
  • Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
  • If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.
The drain pump filter is located in the front, center of the machine at the bottom behind the lower panel that can be removed by taking out 3 screws.

I hope this helps. Here we are starting with the most obvious. If not the filter, it could be the pump itself, or the flowmeter, but try this first. Handiest1 10-1-10

We have a Kenmore Oasis HE.It stopped during the rinse cycle

“F21” (AKA SD) is a Long (SLOW) Drain error (LD). If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump.

Whirlpool duet washer problem

The following link explains the "FH" error code:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r615354-fh_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

First, try to unplug the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code reappears, then proceed with the steps outlined in the link I provided for you.

This is one of the more "involved" error codes that you may need spend some time with. Although, it may NOT be a difficult repair, it still may require some diligence to figure out the cause. I would recommend checking your washer installation for a potential siphoning problem and then check the drain pump as these are the more common causes. If you require additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

The F code

Refer to manual; your filter could be blocked, or something could be clogged in the drain pipes. Plug off the wall & check the pipes, filter first.
