Try this out

>*<<*<*

( " > " Press right on joystick, " * " Press star key on the keyboard )

Then go to "Service Test"
Click on "Earphone"
Try to listen the sound.

if you can listen to the sound, then its the issue with the network

If not, Then its the issue with the phone

Try this!!

E72 incoming voice is too low to hear .

When you are talking to someone, you can increase or decrease the incoming voice through Volume key. Press the volume Up to increase volume.
Remember volume will increase or decrease only if you ore on a call.

When i play dvd i hear background music really clearly and voices are hardly audible - this happens on channel 5.1. if i swap to channel 2. i hear the filmmaker commentary! dvd was working fine until...

sounds like the speakers are out of order and/or maybe 1 or 2 not connected. use a AA battery and "pop" each speaker wire. it's low voltage and amperage so it won't damage your speakers. but the pop will allow you to know exactly what speaker you have and if it's connected. now make sure to put it in the correct spot. i would start with the center channel. sounds like this one's not connected.

I am able to hear incoming call i.e. No voice of caller...on e72 nokia

Hi, when you can't hear the voice of the caller calling you ,it means that the earpiece of the phone which is located slightly above where the screen is. the earpiece is not ok and it needs to be replaced.

When you replace i,you will now be able to hear the incoming callers voice.

Have a nice day.

Kenwood KDC-BT838U -- Low audio on incoming phone calls only.

Patrick -
I have the reverse problem.  Callers can hardly hear me. I saw a setting in the headunit that allows you to specify where the audio plays for incoming calls.  You can choose the Left Front Speaker, the Right Front Speaker or Both.  Check the manual and make sure its set to both.

You could try hitting the dynamic compression button on the remote and that makes the highs and lows close im not sure if this will help but it might and another thing you can do is hit the front green button up more so it will be louder hope this helps
