Can the Jenn Air Atrezzi blender be cleaned ? Does the bottom part unscrew? Thanks!

The blender does unscrew, it has a thick silicone gasket and can be very difficult to unscrew if overtightened. Dry hands and a firm grip are required. I used a garbage disposal handle I put the handle in a vice, and sat the blender on top of it. The handle fit just perfectly inside the bottom of the blender, and then twisted the glass to unscrew.
