The freezer works but no cold air is making it to the refrigerator on top

Check the dampers that control the air flow from freezer to the refrigerator compartment and make sure that they are open.

Check the air return on the bottom left wall of the refrigerator side. Check for cold air flow at the top of the refrigerator when the compressor is running. If you feel no air flow, open the freezer door and see if you detect significantly more air flow after opening the freezer door. This could indicate a return air flow restriction and make sure that there no blocking of air vent at the top of refrigerator section that supplies the cold air from the freezer.Check the door seal gasket on the refrigerator for leaks.

If there is still same problem then you need to replace evaporator fan.

Most likely you have a defrost problem. The frost is building up on the evaporator coil causing a restriction to the flow of cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator.

If the freezers warm, possible defrost timer bad, if freezers cold, set to middle setttings on both dials, the 1-10 OFF dial operates the compressor, the COLDER/WARMER dial operates the flapper door that regulates freezer air into the reefer box, if set to max cold that makes cold freezer, not reefer.

check your damper vent door located between the fridge and freezer and make sure its opening up to let cold air into the fridge,also check the evaporator fan motor and make sure its operating to blow the air around the inside of the unit

CHECK THE FREEZER FAN MAKE SURE ITS RUNNING AND IF THE BACK WALL OF THE FREEZER IS FROSTED UP YOU HAVE A DEFROST PROBLEM. I ONCE FOUND SOMETHING FELL BEHIND THE BASKET SO THE DOOR DIDNT SHUT ALL THE WAY, CHECK THIS AS WELL

sounds like the freezer is frozen solid and not lettting the cold air down to the fridge. Make sure the freezer is going through the auto defrost cycle.

make sure you air damper in the refer section is open
and allowing cold air from the freezer in to refer section, close the freezer door and make sure you can feel the cold air dumping in
its good thaty you cleared the two air passages
but something may be clogging your air diffuser

TRY TO TURN THE DIAL TO MAKE IT COLDER

I have a side by side jenn-air refrigerator, the freezer compartment working fine and making ice like it should, however the refrigerator compartmant is not cooling, no cold air is felt, I need advise.
