How do I change my nickname? - FixYa Service

Go to the drop down menu under your name and select "Account" and then scroll all the way down to change your account information and your screen name.

*Please note that only your Full Name is displayed on the site. Your Nickname is only used to identify your account in our records.
*It is not currently an option to change your nickname.

If you want to add or change your full name, please do the following:

1. Sign in to your Fixya account
2. Click your Name on the top right and select "My Account"
3. Click on "My Settings" tab
4. Enter your chosen name in the Full Name field
5. Scroll down and click "Save My Information"

This will change your name on the site retroactively and on all your future posts.

You cannot update your nickname on Fixya. It looks like those are automatically generated. You can, however, update your full name which is the name that is actually displayed when you post content on Fixya.

You should contact the site through their "contact" link at the bottom of the page. I'm sure they will fix it for you.

Hi there,

At the Join Room Window, you must select your nickname on the "Join Room as:your nickname"

You can find it on the upper right section of the Room Window, this is where you select first the room that you will enter.

If the nickname still not showing on that section, make sure that you already add your nickname on the aliases.

For some clarification and request how to add aliases just let me know.

just call the yahoo support and then tell them about the problem and from there you can change the old nick name and all the help you want

I asked the same question to Customer Support and they informed me you cannot change your nickname once you open your account. I was informed to create another account with the nickname of choice. Good Luck...

go to settings and then system settings,nickname and click on it then change nick name.

Nicknames can't be changed at all. I don't even think that accounts could be removed unless done manually in the database.

So nope, can't be done.
